"The apartment was clean, bed was comfortable and we liked that it was in the historic Maytag Plant 1! It was difficult to find the correct entrance with the lockbox to get into the property. Thankfully there was someone outside of the building that walked us to the correct entrance. Only suggestion that I have for the owners is for them have thicker towels and more bed pillows. "What a jewel this house is - the history and the care in renovating are phenomenal. I slept upstairs and enjoyed it very much. I love all the windows which allow a lot of light into the house. I was surprised how close it was to the street and we did hear some street noise through the night. The coffee bar was wonderful as was the garden which notes all of the flowers that have been planted. I really enjoyed that."

"We are in Pella several times a year and prefer staying in the downtown VRBOs...this time, we hit the jackpot! Beautifully decorated and restored. The history of the building was a nice touch. Location was perfect. The neighbor was so sweet and helpful. The owners were easy to work with and responsive. We'll definitely try to stay here again on our next trip."

"Matt was a great host! He gave great directions to get to the property and how to checkin and out. The house is beautiful! It was a short drive to the fairgrounds and was great for multiple families to stay in, definitely beats a hotel. We didn't get to enjoy the outdoor seating due to frigid temps and a snow storm, but it looked like a great place to hang out when the weather is nice. I would highly recommend and we would stay here again!"

"Claire's VRBO home - Tiger Cove - was perfect for mine and my daughter's girls trip! The pull out was firm enough for my daughter's back pain, and the king sized bed was perfect to spread out in! The laundry in the basement was very convenient. There are tags everywhere for ease of stay. Would book again if I'm in Des Moines! 5 stars! "

"We had a great family weekend in Des Moines. The house is fantastic for a large group. Nice kitchen, dining and living areas. Plenty of bedrooms and nice bathrooms.
