"My stay at Lakeside Bed and Breakfast was perfect and absolutely delightful! The room was beautiful, comfortable, and spacious. The property is on a lake, surrounded by trees, lovely and peaceful even though it is right on the edge of Florence. Very easy to find. The breakfast was delicious and generous every day. I especially loved the fresh-squeezed orange juice. The hosts were very good at making guests feel welcome and pampered! I could not have asked for anything more."

"The place was exceptional with all the amenities that you need for a great vacation. It has a great view of bad water from the deck. If you’re handicapped or have a disability you will struggle getting up those stairs from the river. It’s extremely steep. The owner and property manager were kind and easy to work with and gave great instructions. The only downfall to this place is the neighbors!!! "Great house for multi generational family vacation. Kitchen was perfect and pool table was a hit! We had lots of snow and enjoyed snow shoeing around the area. Recommend a 4x4 for winter visit. "
