"Fresh breakfast, excellent staff! Good location on the edge of the town and lots of places to cycle to, including Puzzlewood which was the main reason for our stay. But there was a mechanical banging noise (like a shoe in a tumble dryer!) from 3.30am both nights we stayed that kept me awake. The whole experience was very 'meh' and we wouldn't recommend unless you are playing golf there."

"The castle was a true castle and maintained well. The staff is every area we’re kind and friendly. This is a very nice place to enjoy adult only accommodations and my wife and I would stay here again if ever in the area. Food was also top quality and served as if you were at a 5 star restaurant. "The Royal George is a lovely pub and Inn. The food is fantastic and all staff could not have been more attentive and helpful. We had an upstairs room with a balcony overlooking the courtyard. Our room was very nicely appointed, spacious and quiet. Free parking was plentiful on the property (front and back lots). There is a small grocery store a ross the street. It is a beautiful area to walk around and a great base for exploring surrounding towns and attractions."

"Der Check in perAutomat war nicht möglich. Ich erhielt schon wieder keinen Check-in Code von Hotel.com. Glücklicherweise war jemand vor Ort, der uns im System fand und eincheckte. Zwar älterer Hotelkasten, aber tiptop renoviert. Unser Zimmer, da kurzfristig gebucht, war ein Zimmer für körperlich beeinträchtigte Menschen und daher komfortabel gross und barrierefrei.
