"What an amazing place, 5 star luxury, the hotel grounds are pristinely, you have your own beach (as its difficult to get to unless you have hotel access. "Such an amazing place to stay. Located in a quiet area, but with very easy access to other areas. The hospitality we were shown was incredible. We have stayed in 8 hotels during our time in Sri Lanka, and this one is by far, our favourite. The owner and staff went above and beyond to make sure we were happy, this place is a must stay."

"The hotel is ina quiet part of Unawatuna. You wake to the sound of the waves. Peacocks and moneys are all around. The pool is lovely and restaurant has good food/ drinks and service. The reception staff were fabulous and took care of all my needs. "

"Large rooms with comfortable bed right on the beach. Easy walking to many tourist shops and many restaurants. Lots of fresh seafood available from these restaurants. Staff was very friendly and eager to help with a smile. The restaurant prepared a seafood grill each night and set tables with candies at the edge of the surf. Breakfast was very good with lots of fruit and an omelette station as well as curry. Can’t go wrong staying here. "

"Nice facility, our room was fairly unique with some fake rock. Our daughter's room had a cool outdoor bathtub. You get great use of two other Thambapanni resorts in the area. "Had to wait over an hour past posted check in time. Was told some story about the AC, but, seems it was housekeeping as the floors were wet when we finally checked in. Room was run down..biggest issue was that neither of the two showers drained properly. In fact, sewage came up and created an offensive odor.
