"What an amazing place, 5 star luxury, the hotel grounds are pristinely, you have your own beach (as its difficult to get to unless you have hotel access. "PROS: We had an amazing 4-days stay at Elysium. This Boutique Hotel is a true gem worth every 5-stars, nested a short-tuk-tuk ride from Unawatuna or Galle. The hotel is on a quiet beautiful beach. "The property is located in a well kept garden next to a small but beautiful beach. Rooms are well kept and relaxing. The staff are fantastic and always willing to accommodate requests. "Stayed here many time. Staff amazing and place really beautiful. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Unawatuna. Good Wi-Fi in communal areas (doesn’t quite reach all rooms). The eco friendly question hotels.com asks is difficult to answer. They give lots of bottled water, which I guess isn’t very eco-friendly - but that is what tourists want. I guess maybe if they had a large central water dispenser people could refill bottles for that would reduce plastic use. I think some tourists might complain...

The room is spacious and bedding so comfortable and luxurious. Very private and personal with balcony, and the swimming pool can be just for you. Highly recommended! "

"everything is made to make you feel welcome, the staff is wonderful, from the cleaners to the pool technician, the cooks , the people at the reception and the manager, thank you all for this lovely stay! the place is a little paradise on earth, the rooms, the restaurant, the swimming pool, the location, one of the best place we ever stay. 2 steps away from the beach, jungle, shopping, restaurants etc.., but away from the busy main street. will defitinely come back!"

"The location of the hotel was just as it was described! We thoroughly enjoyed the stepping out of the hotel room to the beach. The walkability to the local little shops was a pleasant surprise. The lady at the front desk was profession yet friendly and extremely helpful. She spoke and understood English very well. We loved the very friendly waitstaff, and the Restautant on the beach was awesome! "

"Very nice owner and family! Good rooms, with a great and big balcony. Two steps from the road were everything happens, incuding all restaurantes. Near to the beach and if you are lucky you will se some monkeys from balcony. Good value for money! Really a good place, recommed!"
