"What an amazing place, 5 star luxury, the hotel grounds are pristinely, you have your own beach (as its difficult to get to unless you have hotel access. "The property is located in a well kept garden next to a small but beautiful beach. Rooms are well kept and relaxing. The staff are fantastic and always willing to accommodate requests. Food was excellent, particularly the Sri Lankan breakfast. The menu has increased and has a great selection of Western and Asian dishes but is quite expensive."

"5 stars are not enough for this wonderful place. A special thank you to Chathuri and her team for the making us feel so welcome and at home. "Super friendly staff, nothing is too much trouble and everything is done with a sincere smile:) Delicious and varied breakfast deserves 5stars. The room is spacious and bedding so comfortable and luxurious. Very private and personal with balcony, and the swimming pool can be just for you. Highly recommended! "

"Great hotel in a fantastic location in nature but not far from the beaches. The view is amazing and palm trees with monkeys jumping around is just beautiful. The infinity pool offers nice views and and the hotel area is small. The food was excellent. The chef was very helpful in finding gluten free options and the food was delicious. Highly recommend a stop at this place. "

"Wat een heerlijke plek om onze reis door Sri Lanka af te sluiten! De kamers zijn prachtig, het ontbijt is lekker en het heerlijke zwembad maakt het helemaal af! We hebben bij het hotel een massage geboekt op onze laatste dag, dit was goed stevig maar ook lekker. Het hotel zit op ongv. 15 minuten met de tuktuk van de strandjes/restaurants, maar dat wisten we van te voren en vonden wij met het heerlijke zwembad helemaal niet erg. "

"Stayed here many time. Staff amazing and place really beautiful. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Unawatuna. Good Wi-Fi in communal areas (doesn’t quite reach all rooms). The eco friendly question hotels.com asks is difficult to answer. They give lots of bottled water, which I guess isn’t very eco-friendly - but that is what tourists want. I guess maybe if they had a large central water dispenser people could refill bottles for that would reduce plastic use. I think some tourists might complain...

"We were really looking forward to staying at Green Villa but upon arrival they said there was a problem with the room and they were completely booked so had to book us in a hotel next door. The place next door was dirty and only half as nice. I went back when I saw they had availability the next 3 nights and they were able to put us in a ground floor room (I paid for a balcony) but it was still nice.
