"Stayed at The Millers Arms for a show at The Marlowe Theatre. Lovely pub, room was well looked after and clean. Staff very friendly and a great breakfast included as well. 2 min walk to the theatre and a great choice of pubs and restaurants. Highly recommend "

"We had a great stay at The Evenhill. All the staff were very friendly. Our room was clean, warm and spacious. The shower was great and the towels were nice and large. We didn’t get full WiFi signal in the room, but it wasn’t a problem. We had dinner in the pub and everyone’s meal was excellent. Breakfast the next morning was excellent as well; with plenty to fill us up!"

"Good location, walkable to Canterbury Cathedral. Good single room, comfortable bed. Hosts were very friendly and helped me up to my room by carrying my suitcase. Since I was on the top floor, this was much appreciated. Breakfast was plentiful starting with continental choices and then a full cooked meal with several choices on the menu. Very good value for the cost."

"Good stay. Excellent welcome and service fro reception. Very old but very clean throughout. White bed linen and white towels. Actually next door to the cathredral. Parking would be challenging but for the good arrangement between hotel and city council which makes it pretty easy. Overall we were well pleased with our stay."

"We really enjoyed our 4 night stay at the Penthouse ,the location was great ,a short walk to all the attractions ,restaurants/pubs ,shopping and transport . The flat was well appointed ,we liked the little extra's that were provided .it was comfortable and homely . a nice place to relax in . The communication was great ,and the local information provided was very helpful . We would definitely stay here. again "

"The staff were fantastic very helpful and lovely to talk too and the room was beyond what I was expecting, beautifully clean lovely and warm the toilets were always clean and the shower was a walk in we absolutely enjoyed I stay and hopefully will be back next year. "Tired hotel ,lack of lifts and accesible entrance. Bedroom hot bathroom freezing couldnt get radiator to work. Lack of easily accesible sockets in room Staff excellen , breakfast excellent Plenty to see and do in area"

"About a 20-minute walk from the centre, this place is in a convenient and easy-to-reach location. The check-in instructions were clear and straightforward, which made arrival completely stress-free. Check-in is from 3pm and check-out is at 10am. With a relatively late check-in time and quite an early check-out, a later check-out option would be much appreciated. The room was lovely, with a very comfortable bed that ensured a great night’s sleep. Breakfast was on the minimalistic side, but still...

"Restaurant was closed but we were assured a full menu would be served in the renovated bar. Only fish and chips, hamburgers, curry, no beer (only Peroni!!) and the bar was empty and soulless. Not how we imagined our celebration with friends would be We complained but the General Manager was only contactable by email. He still has not replied. The hotel is not nearly as grand and welcoming as advertised. There are better places to stay in Canterbury."
