"Luxurious comfy apartment in the heart of the delightful small town. Fully equipped with everything youll need. Never any trouble parking directly opposite the property, though it was outside of peak period. My only complaint is local takeaways not staying open long enough. "

"Rooms are a decent size and good facilities. Bar is great with a good selection of beers and spirits. The food is fantastic! I have a dietary requirement and they catered for me and were very knowledgeable of the ingredients in the meals. Thoroughly recommend staying here. "

"The room was clean and basic. It was a bit noisy as the plumbing (I assume) sometimes banged loudly in our room. This didn’t go too late into the night and we slept well. The kitchen facilities were good and the large dining/lounge area was a great space. The whole place could do with a lick of paint and a good wipe over. "There was some work going on for the new spar but didn’t affect us staff really kind especially Kieran and Mathew definitely will return we had a superb room with a big bay window overlooking lake Windermere"

"Wonderfully authentic Lakeland Inn.Our stay was peaceful with so many opportunities for walks straight from the door.Limited options available for dinner, would have appreciated more choices.cooked breakfast was very good but some yoghurt, fruit would have been welcome.Selection of beers at the bar was very good.The staff work extremely hard but we thought an extra member of staff would have helped to reduce waiting times at dinner and breakfast"

"With my Mum having limited mobility the parking situation was a challenge but we managed. We also hadn’t realised the 2nd bedroom was two single beds (our fault for not checking closely enough) but again we managed. Otherwise it was a great place to stay with beautiful views from the little garden on the one evening we had that it didn’t rain. A wonderful place to stay overall and would highly recommend it."

"We have enjoyed a fantastic 2 night stay, the location was spot on only 2 minutes to Lake Windermere and the ferry landing point. Colin is the perfect host, very attentive, knowledgeable of the area and looked after us well. Breakfast was a lovely; full English in a cosy setting. The room was fine with all amenities. It was our birthdays whilst there and Colin decorated the room, these touches are most appreciated. Definitely recommend 10/10"

"The breakfast was delicious with different options. There is free parking on the premises and some restaurants within walking distance for dinner. Very nice owners and house. The bed was super comfortable. Highly recommend. "
