"Nice hotel and friendly staff upon check in. Very strong perfume smell in lobby as well as the room. Room set up a little odd with sink in the bedroom. Centrally located to everything we were doing. Walking distance to a Whole Foods market also! Overall a nice stay!"

"The air filter in the corridor in the room needed to be changed. It had not been changed in MONTHS as lint, dust bunnies and dirt was easily visible when walking beneath it. It was uncharacteristically NOT Hotel Nikko style and I, frankly, did not expect to see this."

"From the moment we walked in the staff was very friendly, he answered all my questions from local spot to check out, to parking ect. The accommodations to the complementary breakfast was all excellent. Definitely would come and stay just from the atmosphere to the hospitality."

One thing that would have really elevated the experience would be having the terrace open throughout the day so guests could fully enjoy the property. It would have been such a nice place to relax, read a book, or enjoy coffee. The terrace was typically only open after 5 PM. The first night we were there it was closed for a private party, and another evening it did not open until 7 PM, which felt a little...

"The Grove Inn was great for a quick trip into San Francisco. Close enough to the area. Be mindful it is San Francisco and the streets are definitely full of hilss. If you can walk, everything is close enough. If you can't, Ubers are always available. The hotel itself was clean and secure with the charm of the Victorian Homes that are known for the area. Will definitely return to stay again. Thank you Azizza!"

"Amazing sky view of the city from my room. The hotel was close to Union Square key for shopping, conference attendance and access to tours. Staff were exceptional and responsive to every need. I do miss the absence of a complimentary breakfast though. The gym was sufficient, small but extensive equipment. 10/10 experience!"

"Stayed 1 night on the 17th floor. No problems, bed was comfy. Clean room. Coffee in the morning lobby was nice. The only thing is Experian/ booking .com/ etc say there is parking. There is no parking. You need to go online and find a public garage nearby. We use "Spothero" to find parking, and it was 1.5 blocks around the corner. We unloaded our stuff at the hotel. Drove a nice garage, self-parking cost me around $45 for a 24-hour stay."
