"Had a lovely stay at Chonor House. The hotel has beautiful Tibetan interiors and is a minute from the Dalai Lama Temple complex. There were some issues we had at the property - there seems to be a problem with the plumbing throughout and on one occasion, we found cockroaches at the breakfast area, but the staff was very nice and made changes as requested - changing rooms and changing the entire breakfast spread. "Large bathroom with good shower . Very clean room close to eateries and attractions but in a quiet area for a good night’s sleep . Staff helped with securing a driver for sightseeing and transportation. I would stay again next time I go back to Dharamsala."

"The Lodge felt like it could be a great place, but couldn't be bothered. Most staff seemed bored, and not actively involved in managing the place. The description of this place sounds wonderful and passionate! It felt, at best forlorn and neglected. Did something go wrong here? "

The views of the mountains are the best in Mcleod Ganj and the location is fantastic for all that the area has to offer. "Good location in McLeod. Spacious room, hot water worked well & although the room was very cold at night, they provided a heater for approx. £3 per night. Good value for money overall! "

" Beautiful mountain view's. Exceptionally good and fresh food was provided for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. In addition, the staff and manager were friendly and gave 100% to insure we had a great stay. The rooms were huge, and were furnished with everything needed. The complimentary horseback riding was great! I highly recommend this hotel. Thank you to the staff and manager for making this a memorable experience that we will rememberer. "
