"After a long day of travel, my wife and I were looking forward to spending some time in the woods, under the stars. However, the entire bus was filthy,(except for the sheets) the place smelled awful...smoky, musty and like the whole barn had lived in it at some point. It was muggy and quite honestly, kinda seemed like a place you might come away with bedbugs or maybe even lice...nothing was mowed or weed whacked, the hammock was moldy and there was dirty dishes sitting on the table outside...

"Salem Historic Downtown VRBO was exactly as described. It was close to downtown, and not far to walk or drive to eating locations. The three bedrooms, two bathrooms, desk room, TV room, laundry room, and kitchen, were all very clean. If we ever have a reason to go back to Salem, VA., this is the first place I would check to see if it would be available. A MUST RENT IF YOU'RE STAYING IN SALEM, VA."

"Luis was super responsive and vey helpful - he also has a sense of humor which helps when things out of your control go sideways! The cottage was perfect for our needs. Cozy beds, comfy furniture and a well-stocked kitchen. We would stay again if we come back this way. Thanks, Luis!"
