"We enjoyed our stay at the Samaria hotel. It was within easy walking distance of the old town and Harbour area. The hotel staff were pleasant and helpful and the pool was a welcome respite after a day of tourist activities."

"This was a gem of a room right in the heart of old town Chania. There was all that you could need in the room like a coffee maker, glasses and great wifi speeds. Bed is very comfortable. The only thing to consider is that the room is not soundproofed so you do hear a little action on the streets below but it was nothing too hard to handle, and the blackout drapes do not fully block the lights from outside out. We are light sleepers but either didn't affect us negatively but should be noted...

"Renata was the reception staff who welcomed us gave us loads of recommendations for restaurants nearby and was very welcoming! She definitely made our stay so much more enjoyable. The hotel is small but we loved that it’s quiet and the view from the balcony is just amazing. Enjoyed our stay in Chania a lot and hope to be back! "

"Very clean and cute hotel with central location and excellent service. Loved the decor, the vibe, the breakfast at the terrace, the comfortable bed and the pillow. The only downside for us was the noise and music coming from the several restaurants from the street below (until about 1 AM). Also you can hear almost everything from the combined reception/wine bar/breakfast area from the room we stayed in. There was soundproofing but if you are light sleeper or want to go to bed early take this...

"Très bel hôtel, bien entretenu, au calme mais proche du centre. L’accueil est top et tout est fait pour nous être agréable et rendre notre séjour parfait. La chambre est très jolie, propre et spacieuse, la salle de bain n’est pas très grande mais fonctionnelle et la douche est elle par contre grande. "The staff at this hotel are all absolutely lovely! Very helpful and friendly. The location is perfect - very close to good restaurants and a short walk to the old town. The included breakfast was great too. The pool is not very impressive. But you are close to the beach, so it was not a problem. "

"We spent three nights here as part of a longer trip. The Domus Fresco was a perfect home base to explore Chania and surrounding areas (don’t miss Samaria Gorge!). Morning coffee on the deck, watching the town wake up was my favorite! My husband loved the rain shower. "
