"Check in very smooth and lady at desk very happy and helpful, both rooms very clean and fit for purpose, room cleaned daily to a very good standard. Breakfast was plentiful and staff exceptional. All in all a lovely couple of days. Will definitely return "

"Hotel was nice, staff very friendly and rooms in a nice clean condition. It wasn't noisy at all, which I did worry about as the night I was there a wedding was taking place, but I was pleasantly surprised that there was no noise at all. "

"The location is great. The insulation is very poor, i could hear the neighbours room the noise from the TV. The mattress is terrible, needs replacing as it was a little lumpy and bump so I couldn't get a good night's sleep for 3 days. The room was ok, the bathroom was very small just enough room for a shower and a toilet. It is walkable distance to the main historical area, the defence walls, the beautifu houses and the pubs on Spice Island so that was a bonus."

"Only stayed for 1 night as stop over for attending an event near by but wouldn't hesitate to stay longer. Great location and an easy 10 minute walk into the village centre. The chocolate bars were a welcome addition to our room and the offer of fresh milk a bonus. Free bottled water also a nice extra especially given how warm the weekend has been. Decent bathroom with lovely products that you can also purchase. I didn't eat in the restaurant but that was for no reason other than wanting to...
