"Unfortunately the hotel had some problems in the kitchen which impacted very badly on the menu for dinner, the breakfast, service (so slow) and noise. It would have been better to fix the problems before reopening or to have had the courtesy to let us know in advance what the situation was. I would have stayed somewhere else. Extremely disappointing as I’ve had lovely stays here in the past. "

"Although our stay was fleeting (just one night) we were made to feel extremely welcome by all of the staff. The room lacked a TV, but actually this was an absolute blessing and it made change not to reach for a remote control. "We found the hotel perfectly dog friendly and appreciated being able to get breakfast in the large room adjoining the restaurant.The garden was good for short walks,as was Manor gardens across the road from the car park. "
