Our studio apartment was clean, well-kept with all necessary amenities in a nice building 2 min away from Russell underground station and 2 min from food stores, cafes, and a movie theater, not to mention an 8 min walk to the British Museum. "Air conditioner wasn’t working in the room. During a heatwave! Despite selecting the hotel because it said they had working ACs. Sigh. It’s an old property so instead of central AC it’s all mini splits. Made my first night there impossible. Couldn’t open the window because it was street facing. "The accommodations are definitely worn - the carpet was pretty gross, couch was old and pull out bed was uneven. Window latches were unreliable, and a number of ceiling lights were out or flickering. Smelled of smoke and had cigarette butts on the balcony ledge. Bathrooms were solid and washing machine was perfect for us. The service was great, and space overall worked well for our family, but given other options available I would opt for another accommodation for a future trip"

"This place advertises an airport shuttle. This is FALSE! The first thing I asked about was the shuttle as it was the main reason for choosing this hotel. They told me no, there is no shuttle nor has there been for a long time. Other than that, the room was small with four tiny, and very old, single beds and it was hot and stuffy. We also couldn’t get the free breakfast because we had to leave extra early since there was no airport shuttle! NOT RECOMMENDED!"
