Overview:
The hotel is visually stunning both externally and internally. It is and feels like a 5 star hotel.
Great location for the British Museum, UCL and walking distance from London Euston, Kings Cross and Eurostar, with a tube stop right outside the hotel.
Fitz restaurant was a nice way to spend and evening and start the day. The staff were attentive and venison/wine was perfect!
Room:
Room was cosy and has all the facilities you’d expect, although quite tight on space - great for a night, but too small for a weekend or two people as the space for luggage is taking valuable space. I had a standard Queen room, which was overlooking the interior (not a nice view at all, but if you are there for business, as I was, it didn’t impact my stay).
Bed and pillows comfortable and had a really good night sleep - was so quiet!
Summary:
I’d definitely recommend the hotel, for business and weekend travel (book a larger room). Hotel staff were excellent, hotel was impeccable and for such a large hotel, it never felt crowded.
