"Absolutely wonderful stay from start to finish. The staff were amazing, very professional, friendly and accommodating. The surroundings are fabulous and the rooms absolutely first rate. The food, both in the restaurant at night and for breakfast were absolutely delicious. We’ll definitely be back"

"We have just returned home after a 2 week stay at Milford House which we highly recommend. The house is clean, spacious and comfortable and everything we could have possibly needed was provided, including a washing machine, tumble dryer and dishwasher. The house is in a convenient location, only a minute or two's walk from the centre of the village. A particular highlight was the bedroom in the roof and the sounds of the sheep and cows in the fields nearby! We enjoyed staying in Tideswell...

"Had a lovely stay at The Bull. The rooms were clean and very comfortable. We booked a table for the evening meal and the food was delicious. We really enjoyed our breakfast and the menu had a good variation to choose from. Everyone is very friendly and welcoming. Would definitely recommend and stay again. "

"Lovely nights stay at the Ashford Arms. Comfortable rooms and excellent restaurant serving fabulous food. Nice to have a breakfast menu as opposed to a buffet. Great location in quiet village close to Bakewell. Would stay again if back in Derbyshire."

"Nice clean & comfortable room, easy check in. Breakfast is definitely the best we have been offered anywhere in the U.K., with a truely extensive offering! Can get a little busy between 8.30 & 10am, so best to get there earlier! Spa is good although definitely over capacity with day guests in the afternoon. The Spa manager needs to put a limit on it instead of thinking about the profit. Fifty minute treatment for £95 was so worth it. Would definitely return for a two to three night break again!"
