"We had to stay here onky for 1 night. Unfortunately a damage to our motorcycle obliged to stay in Gorran Haven for 4 nights. The accomodation in hotel was perfect but without a rental car the place is isolated, nice but not for long stays."

"Great stay in a room 11 which was more like a little separate home. Food quality was good and staff were nice. While overall cleanliness was decent, we had hairs in shower and over our toilet and my parent had some mess in their bathroom too. Really liked the branded ‘newspapers’ with the property details and its history, as well as the separate lounge downstairs."

"Property was very nice, but I think it would look a lot better if they cut all the ivy-which is all over it at the back there was no glass in the bathroom to rinse your mouth with and there is no shelf to put all the towels on. They are just shoved on top of a radiator overall not what I expected sorry."

"Lovely, modern, spacious apartment. Catered for everything, towels, tea towels, dishwasher tablets, even cling film! Only downside was that the beds weren’t the most comfortable but stunning view. Great communication from host too."

"The owners are so friendly and helpful and want you to have a special stay, they enjoy what they do. The breakfast was fantastic in choice and quality and quantity. Our room ( room 1) was very spacious, comfortable, with amazing bathroom,( needed after camping) and I would stay again. It is very rural, so good 15 minutes drive to get an evening meal , which you should book. Lots of parking. We’d stay again"

"Can we add extra stars?? Everything was amazing -greeting, food, wine, staff, room and comfort. Car park uneven but plenty of warning signs tho! Pure chance but even given same room as 25 tears ago!! Will certainly return next time in Cornwall."

"Beautiful hotel in gorgeous surroundings. Very clean and tidy. The food was excellent and very good portion sizes. Hotel staff were very pleasant and friendly. Very close to all amenities but far enough away from the noise of the town. Would definitely recommend. "

"Lovely bolt hole for a few days away visiting various places in Cornwall by train and bus. Just a note to self, if we stayed another time I'd bring dry shampoo as the water pressure wasn't great for my hair. Also if you have a weak bladder, make sure you book "

"Always very well looked after by the team here and this year was no differet. The rooms are nice and spaciouis and the high quality bed linen/towels etc. make is to much more pleasant. Restaurant menu is a bit more curtailed than my last visit, but that is commonplace everywhere I believe - still a decent variety of options."

"The owners were very friendly. A cosy place, room was clean slightly dated. The room my wife and I was in had signs of an old leak on ceiling, some repairs needed but nothing serious. Both of us found the bed a little soft for our liking. There are no restaurants close by within easy walking distance, but there are plenty of choices by car within 10 - 20 mins."
