"Our room was perfect. It was perfectly clean, spacious, beautifully furnished with a view of the canal. The breakfasts were deliciously prepared with care. They kept the downstairs stocked with free cold water and various sodas and good wines at a very low cost. It was an absolute joy to experience this hotel that Katy and Olivier obviously put in so much of themselves to remodel from an old home and that they run with such care and detail. "Our short stay in Carcassonne was extremely pleasant and comfortable at Hôtel Le Donjon. The parking arrangements are very convenient, the rooms comfortable and the staff very friendly. Our only issue was the shower didn't have a screen attached that actually stopped the water from going all over the floor. A minor detail that could be easily fixed. Apart from that I would definitely book Hôtel Le Donjon again."

"Great location next to the fortress, excellent friendly staff, nice sized comfortable room and bed. Only complaint is there was not even a drawer to unpack any of your luggage. We are literally living out of our suitcases as there was nowhere to put stuff. Other than that we still highly recommend. "
