Wander down to the private dock to watch the water, then return to the porch for conversation in the shade. This lakefront home in Bumpass, Virginia, gives your group places to enjoy the shoreline together and room to spread out indoors.

The outdoor spaces offer more than one way to spend an afternoon. Stretch out on the deck's lounge chairs, gather around the outdoor dining table, or fire up the gas grill for dinner. There is a basketball hoop for a few friendly shots and a picnic table for a change of scenery. Finish with a soak in the private hot tub beneath the deck. If you plan to bring or rent a boat, contact us in advance to discuss dock arrangements and launching options.

Inside, the main living room has a sofa and a wall-mounted TV beside the kitchen, keeping conversation close while meals come together. The kitchen has a refrigerator, stove and oven, microwave, dishwasher and an island with four seats. A separate dining table gives the group another place to share meals, with windows looking toward the lake.

Downstairs, a second TV lounge with a large sectional makes it easy to split into smaller groups for a movie or a quieter evening. A separate game room has its own TV, sofa and chalkboard wall, while another lower-level dining table provides space to sit together away from the main floor.

SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS
The home accommodates up to 12 guests in five bedrooms, all with queen beds:
- Main level: three bedrooms, each with one queen bed.
- Basement: one bedroom with two queen beds and one bedroom with one queen bed.

There are two full bathrooms: a shower bathroom on the main level and a bathroom with a tub/shower combination in the basement. The bedrooms and living spaces span two levels; plan for stairs when choosing the layout for your group.

Wi-Fi, central air conditioning and an in-home washer and dryer support longer stays as well as weekend visits. Parking accommodates up to five vehicles: four on the concrete pad in front of the garage and one in the gravel area beside it. Dogs are welcome, with a maximum of four.
