"Very nice staff, delicious breakfast. Had trouble finding plates, cups and glasses at breakfast but that’s because we were a bit late and they had a Christmas party of 130 going on! Bedroom was very nice but the mattress was too much hard for us. Good value overall."

"The suite was perfect really large and it looked like it had just been refurbished. Breakfast however was disappointing. Tea and coffee poor and the hot stuff wasnt very nice, this was strange as the food in the restaurant the day before was ok"

"Property was in an excellent location, within the city centre walking distance from the cathedral! Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Front of house staff were knowledgeable and professional! Well-equipped hotel with everything you could possibly need for a short stay. Pretty good breakfast too! Strong recommendation. "

"Absolutely loved our stay. The hotel is completely dog friendly and the staff regularly put bowls of water out. The staff are exceptionally friendly and accommodating. The rooms are very big and comfortable and the food is amazing. We checked out on the Sunday and booked in for the Sunday roast which didn’t disappoint. We are already looking to hook up again in the next few months "

"Hotel was very quiet as it was a Sunday - it is also currently being renovated - I wasn’t offered a refurbished room until I asked specifically if any were available after I had already checked in. Old room was very dated, had a creaky floor, tap dripping and whistling extractor fan in bathroom. I’m not sure if the newer room we had was same grade as much smaller room size and double rather than king size bed. Decor much better and bathroom nice. "The hot tub was warm enough, but the pool with the jets on the side. When they are activated the chlorine was very strong and made our eyes sting. "
