"I've stayed at The Crown a few times...and many will say its outdated...needs a lick of paint...not me...its quite a charming hotel with character and squeaky floorboards...dont ever change...plus the location is fantastic..."

The only two things that let it down were firstly that the WiFi was quite unreliable in my room, and secondly the housekeeping office was right opposite my room and from 8 o’clock every morning there would be people in and out of there shouting, arguing, laughing very loudly - and they woke me up more than once!"

"The room was clean and the staff friendly. I probably would not come here again mainly because they do not serve breakfast. Their website states that breakfast is made to order and I recall seeing it on the expedia page but then was notified a day before about where to go for food instead. I asked on arrival and they have not served breakfast in 3 years. Inconvenient but not the end of the world. The shower had someone else's soap in it and the body wash was never renewed after use.
