"We booked to stay as it was near to Wadhurst Castle where we were attending a wedding. The room was The Yew and Eye. Spotlessly clean and a lovely area out the front to sit and enjoy a drink. Very quirky but charming. The welcome at reception and talk through in the room was excellent. The young lady even took a few moments out of her very busy day to give us a brief history of the pub. The bar was busy but well staffed. Breakfast was ample , fresh and most welcome"

"The pods are excellent, I would like to make two suggestions first as they are meant for occupation by two people there was only one fold up seat. Also, I think a wall mirror is needed cited above the bedside cabinet. I think the pods themselves are brilliant and very warm and the bed was very comfortable."

Its bar is also great, boasting a fantastic atmosphere. However, our (entry level) room was a little on the small side. Despite the cozy quarters, the hotel provides a very pleasant and enjoyable experience."
