"My husband and I had a delightful stay at this charming bed and breakfast on Saturday night. Our room was spacious, comfortable, clean and well equipped . Perfectly located to explore tenterden on foot. In the morning, we enjoyed a lovely breakfast served in a quaint little courtyard besides the beautiful Japanese garden which added to the serene ambiance . "Our room was Yew and Eye, one of the newly built cabins in the garden of this historic inn with a twist. The design is like nothing we’ve ever seen before with surprises every way you look. The room itself has human eyeballs as a decorative theme which was fascinating and amusing. The standard double bed was extremely comfortable, there was plenty of useful storage and good ventilation. "We were a party of three adults staying two nights so that we had an easy journey over the weekend to get to the Steam Rally at nearby Woodchurch. Excellent base as views from the room were great, the balcony just right to sit and watch the sunset, and the beds were comfortable. The only negative comment being the restaurant tables, which had a very sticky feel to them. The waitresses wiped them down thoroughly but it seems this affected the surface of the tables! However the food was excellent...

"A really lovely place to stay, a perfect quiet and very pretty little village. The pub owners and bar staff were very welcoming and made a wonderful breakfast, and we had dinner there one night too which was fab!"

"Situated in a good position within walking distance off all the Town's attractions. Excellent Breakfasts, set you up for the day. The room was clean and comfortable with good en-suite bathroom, with shower. Would use again on next visit."

"Lovely location. Family room was spacious & clean. Plenty of storage. Shower was lovely & hot, plenty of towels available. Breakfast was delicious enough to stop you being hungry. Staff were attentive, pleasant & very helpful. Area is nice & peaceful at certain times of day. Highly recommend 👍"
