"Lovely little hotel, superior room was bigger than we expected looking over the front of the hotel. Fairly clean, only minor point, as the hotel was full there were no spare pillows,I sometimes, I struggle with my breathing hence the extra pillow at night. Will stay again."

"This gem is on Main Street. Had so much character. A fabulous Pub with restaurant attached. The property was spacious and unique. The room was decorated so lovely and such personal touches and quite spacious. Staff was wonderful."

"Booked this hotel for my in laws as they were attending a funeral in Surrey. Staff were very helpful and found a new room for them on the ground floor when they realised my mother in law struggled with stairs. The room was very comfortable and clean. The breakfast was exceptional with an excellent range of options. Would stay again. "

"I had a really pleasant stay at this hotel. The staff were very helpful and welcoming, which made the experience even better. "It has been 10 years since we stayed here before. We found the hotel welcoming with plenty of parking available. The hotel is well kept and in lovely surroundings. We stayed in a ground-floor patio room. It was supposed to be a "wellness room" but there were no additions to the room as advertised. Having said that, the room itself was lovely with a large bed and a large TV. The only downside was the low water pressure so it was a dissappointing shower. "This is a fun place to stay. I booked a safari-themed family room to sleep 5 even though it was just me staying. Room rate included parking, breakfast and use of the pool. Room was a little tired but clean and perfectly fine for an overnight stay. There’s no overhead light in the bedroom area (just the corridor by the door) so it could be a challenge if you plan to read, etc. There’s a fridge in the room which can be a little noisy but I slept fine with my usual earplugs. "We were very comfortable in this hotel. Check-in was friendly, and the room was comfortable with a Tassimo machine providing good coffee. Breakfast menu was excellent and quite extensive in its choice. Village itself was pretty. We ate decent pub grub in the restaurant too. "
