When I arrived to check in around 5:08 PM, I was informed that Expedia had overbooked the hotel and that the Double Queen Suite I had reserved was no longer available. "Very basic accommodations with a tricky front door. The crowd gathered outside on a Saturday night made us a bit nervous. She was very kind, but there was only one person manning Reception; checking in took a good half hour. The breakfast spread was unimpressive, and so we went elsewhere. For what you get, not worth the price."

"The location is excellent with a sizeable parking garage. rooms are nice and clean. Bathrooms could use some bleach but that's not what hotels typically use. Some of the staff was outstanding. Some of the staff had English issues to a fault. When a very helpful gentleman takes four trips to get our coffee, orange juice, and water right, that's not good. The breakfast buffet is very good and a value. The pool is popular and could be bigger."

"The property is conveniently located in a nice area with restaurants and shopping. The hotel was clean and well maintained. I didn’t like that our room was next to the maintenance room and we heard machines running all day and nights for our two day stay."

"My family and I had our first beach vacation at the gulf shores Alabama. We had an amazing experience as we got the nicest view from our balcony. The staff are very friendly and understandable for our children that have a special needs. They had a rule to not bring breakfast food to any rooms but since our children have sensory issues in a crowd and beeping sound from waffle maker and microwaves, they gave us exceptions. "Loved the laundry room. Did not like being there for 4 nights with no housekeeping. Had to request towels every day for the room and clean the room myself. Hotel offers breakfast but the staff did not keep the area clean for my liking. When I arrived social hour was going on, area not clean, counter was sticky. This is a turn off when you wake up to enjoy the breakfast. Came across several people with dogs, But I can say I never smelled the dogs or had to take my allergy meds...
