"The hotel does not treat their cleaning staff well. The staff dies not even have a cart. I heard they have to bring their own cleaning supplies. I personally witnessed a poor cleaner trying to get towels from an over stuffed closet. I felt bad for them and it means the cleaning standard changes from staff member to staff member depending on the products they bring from home. Our room was clean enough but I have a huge problem with staff not having the supplies they need and struggling...

"Room was dated but very clean and spacious. Kitchen was well equipped and having a balcony was nice. The indoor pool was nice and the rooftop patio had a great view to the northwest of Mount Royal. The breakfast was okay, but no day-to-day variety; it included boiled eggs, yogurts, cheddar and Swiss cheeses, deli ham and turkey, Montreal bagels, sourdough and white bread, English muffins, cake loaf slides, Kelloggs cereals, instant oatmeal, coffees and teas, juices, whole kiwis, apples, oranges,...

"Excellent location, very convenient, very nicely decorated room. Newly renovated. No receptionist but easy check in. Not a great part of town if you have a car. (Don’t bother renting a car.) Very clean. TV only works with your streaming subscriptions - we couldn’t just watch TV."
