The check-in process is very difficult. There isn’t a place to store your bags if you arrive early, which means you have to schlep luggage around the city in the snow or rain. The room was clean, however, one of the beds is wet because I think they rushed the laundry. The walls are very thin, and you can hear all of the work and activities outside all night and early morning. It’s a nice place, but there are much better hotels for less money.

Beautiful apartment, well located at a midpoint between the east and west ends of the Old Montreal area, making it easy to explore the area. Apartment was clean. Beds & pillows were comfy. Towels soft and fluffy. Concerns: -window to fire escape was screwed shut with L-brackets. What if there was a fire by the front door or hallway? How would we get out? -communication was not good. There’s no staff. I sent many messages to the property using the chat within the Expedia app. No response. I called the number and the guy said he would get right back to me. He never did :( Fortunately we didn’t have anything requiring urgency (like a lost room key) , can’t imagine how a matter like that would be handled with no staff and poor communication channels -apartment could use some minor maintenances and repairs (water damage to baseboards in bathroom, scuffed walls, light bulbs not working). This stuff didn’t bother us, but if you are particular, it might be an issue Overall a very nice place for the price.

Extremely well located apartment near Notre Dame. Spacious. No noise at night. Like others have stated, there can be a foul smell in the bathroom sometimes, but it wouldn’t stop me from staying here because I love the space, the three beds and the location.

This place has the potential to be amazing! Great location and aesthetic and tons of space for multiple guests. However, checking in was a new experience for me. They required me to upload images of ID and selfies for all four guests before being given access to the codes to enter the building. Considering I was travelling with underage children, there should have been an option to bypass this security feature. I ended up sending photos of the back of my phone case which were apparently accepted which surprised me considering it was deemed a security requirement. We had two TV's in the room. Neither worked. One wouldn't turn on and had no remote control and the other had a remote and power, however had no working inputs to be useable. The TV was greasy and I avoided touching it. The first visit to the bathroom resulted in the door handle falling off. There was a bad smell in the closet that housed the hot water tank. There is no staff on site and no response was received when I texted their number back. A call to the same number indicated it was in Texas. When I did a dummy check before leaving, it was obvious that the hardwood under the bed hadn't been cleaned in some time with visible dust bunnies underneath. The bathroom could have also been cleaner. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen stocked with pots and pans, cutlery, dishes, wine glasses...but no coffee for the morning.

Apartment was clean - area in old town was great - right around the corner of the Basilica. There was a really strong food smell and on our second day we realized that we were next to and above a restaurant.

This apartment does not meet building code and should not be occupied until it does. Expedia should be embarrassed to list it. The bathroom sink plumbing is improperly vented so it doesn't drain, and the water in the u-bend is sucked out, letting sewer air come into the apartment. This is both disgusting and unhealthy. The windows open easily, go right to the floor and have no locks or railings. Pretty? Sure. But it would be very dangerous with a small child. One of the two large towels had a terrible brown stain on it. They said they couldn't replace it, but I could launder it. (If their industrial laundry left the stain in, would the little household laundry do any better?) My partner and I shared one towel the whole time. In two places only one of four light bulbs on a track works. Clearly this is intentional as they lighting is way too bright otherwise and there are no dimmers. I knew it had no amenities, but if you market as a hotel there should be the minimum service. A second room key for example, or an access code. They communicate through multiple channels, which is irritating when there's no counter staff (a text bot to check in, Expedia with questions, by "kasbastays" when you need access code info). Give me one point of contact please. Ideally with a human. The bot that sent me my check-in link added a period to the URL, making it unusable. I figured it out but should not have had to. I asked the bot to escalate this glitch to a human but did not get a response.

This was a great property for exploring Old Montreal. Easy walking to all of the great spots. Lots of amazing shopping and dinning options. Parking was a little difficult due to the size of our vehicle but that part of Montreal is a little difficult no matter what! My only suggestion to the property managers would be to maybe upgrade their bedsheets to something a little softer. Overall, great experience and we would stay again!
