"What a gem this place is! We were upgraded to a nicer, bigger room unexpectedly upon arrival and then were walked right to our room and given lots of good suggestions about nearby spots to get food. The best part is that Beacon’s beach is just a few blocks away! "

"I have stayed all over Southern California and this location and vibe can’t be beat! Very few kids stay here it is more for adults but my 18 year old daughter and I had the perfect time. The staff is great and very accommodating. For sure take a chance on this one . Tucked between Carlsbad and Encinitas. "

"It was really an okay hotel, nothing fancy. But great value for the price. We booked a suite with 1 king bed and a bunk bed. It had 2 rooms and 2 bathrooms. Very impressed with the space. Room was facing the highway, so was really noisy. But we were tired from the long day at the Legoland park, so did not mind. Also rooms are a bit outdated, but everything worked and was clean. Beds were comfy. Breakfast had nice variety. Advice- try to wake up early to breakfast. It gets crazy crowded after 8am...

"I spent 4 nights at The Inn at Moonlight Beach and I was still not ready to leave! Every morning I took a nice long stroll down Moonlight beach, and stopped off for coffee at Lofty. A wonderful breakfast basket was waiting for me when I returned with fresh fruit, a chia seed parfait and green juice. I stayed in Sweet Bay, which had nice high ceilings, a comfortable bed, a mini kitchen and a large soaking tub. All of the touches were so well thought out. "The breakfast was great, lots of variety and fresh options. The kitchen staff was excellent, keeping items stocked and the area clean. The pool area is small not like the picture in the advertisement. The pool was cold and the hot tub was down for part of our visit without any explanation.
