"My wife and I stayed here for a couple of days for our anniversary and had a great experience. Hosts were very friendly and it was in a great location in relation to everything we had planned. Room was cool, really enjoyed the style and furnishings. Would definitely stay there again."

"Everything was great. We used it as a base for my retirement celebration. Friends for the first 5 days; family for the 2nd 5 days. Would definitely go back to this same home. "

"We had a great stay at Keepers Cottage. The views are breathtaking and the cottage very comfy. Judy is very friendly and welcoming. We really needed a refreshing time away. While the lake isn't open yet we still enjoyed the back porch throughout most of our Saturday. We will definitely return."

"I surprised my husband with a 2 night stay for his birthday. We hiked, relaxed, dined on the porch, and felt like we were able to escape while at Shoal Sound. The accommodations were perfect - clean, spacious, homey, and comfortable! Bonus- The weather was amazing. "

"I was in the Asheville area for two separate events and need a place for a couple nights in between. This place was perfect for me. Clean, neat and QUIET. I spent much of my time reading on the porch. Although I could see traffic on the other side of the bamboo forest, I could not hear it. The sound of the wind in the bamboo was so soothing.Bed was comfortable, linens adequate. Bathroom was clean with good water pressure in the shower. I used the washer and dryer and both worked well. ...

"We had a wonderful stay. House was well stocked with kitchen essentials, extra towels, blankets, etc. It was a beautiful spot on the 12th hole. Would definitely book again if we venture back to Lake Lure. "

"Stayed two nights with my wife, 4 daughters, a friend, and our dog. It’s a very impressive house with lots to look at and lots to do! From karaoke in the party room, to cooking in the massive kitchen, and hanging in the hot tub, fun was had by all! Location was also great for walking the dog, with the riverside greenway just outside of the home. "

"Quaint and welcoming, supported the couple of small asks we had in preparation for our wedding in a timely manner. Only thing we had an incorrect assumption of was the proximity of the property to other houses, and the pool being right off the back deck of another house. This may have just been a misunderstanding on our part in regards to the privacy of the unit, and otherwise the experience was great! "

"Everything was the way it’s described. We had an amazing stay for girls weekend. Enjoyed walking across the street to the local garden bar. Which was also amazing. Very clean and comfy beds,‘plenty of space for the seven of us girls. Would definitely come back. "
