"I travel very often and stay at merlin beach marriott, this time there was no stand for fresh fruit where we can pick and ask for the fruit to be sliced, the stand was much smaller and prepared fruit already, so that was disappointing, also the marriott is very busy so its bo longer as peaceful as it was in the in the past, lots of functions, the beach is not peaceful either, they have jet ski companies now , and its very noisy with tour operators, I dont think I'll stay there moving...

"My room was in better condition than my brother's room. His bathroom was quite ordinary and really needs maintenance done (regrout). There are no activities for children after 6pm (such as dart, table tennis, etc). These activities should be open until 10pm for children. I had food poisoning at breakfast on the last day of my stay. I felt sick immediately after eating the chicken sausages and had the worst case of vomiting and diarrhea for 3 days. "The property was close to the beach. The staff were wonderful. The room was clean. The pool was amazing. The breakfast selection was excellent. We were disappointed that the menu for the all-inclusive was very limited for drinks and food. The food that was on the all-inclusive was good. The gym was ok. One bike was broken and the other, the digital display was not working. The elliptical was functional but you could not change any settings as you could not override the Error-7 code. ...

"Loved the the fact that the hotel was five minutes from the airport and beach, free shuttle. Had an issue with the AC in the room, but they quickly gave me another room. Nice staff, very attentive and courteous. Oh, and good selection of food for breakfast between 630am - 1030am."

"Extremely modern and spacious room. The pool areas were beautifully maintained, lots of plants everywhere and lots of shade. Buffet breakfast was one of the best I've had. There isn't much around but I would happily stay there again for a quiet getaway."
