Service at dinner was extremely slow to the point where we had to flag down a different staff member every time we needed something basic like getting water, ordering dessert, or even paying our bill. The restaurant also had the most uncomfortable restaurant chairs ever. Definitely not what we were hoping for after a long hard day of hiking up and down Conic Hill. It literally hurt more to sit than stand"

"I just wanted a simple hotel to come back to after driving all day. No remote for tv, forgot to ask in the morning before leaving for my day trip. Got in late, managed to get Tv on and on a channel, but next night there was a Samsung update message that required the remote. then went for a shower…nearly got severe burns from the tankless water heater as it doesn’t seem to work properly (hot is cold, and apparently cold is hot and extremely dangerously hot. Nowhere to escape to as the shower is...

"Good base for our visit . Staff very helpful and cheery .Loved our lil record player such fun . Heating always on in bathroom . Very hot under foot . Breakfast was continental . Not the best . If we had stayed one more night I dont think we would have bothered"

"Hotel was lovely and peaceful even though a wedding was on. Beautiful surroundings inside as well as out. Had dinner in Palomino’s restaurant based within. All staff were friendly. Had a lovely breakfast in the morning. Singer was on in the restaurant later on. Loads of parking available. Will definitely return and strongly recommend to others."

The main disappointment was that the rules of the spa have changed and we were unaware we had to book the spa and could only attend at certain times which wouldn't have suited anyway.
