The only problem was that there was a rodent trying to get into our snacks and eat my vitamins and medici left on the counter for the next morning."

We had beautiful gum trees with koalas right near our door. American River is a great location as its half way between Penneshaw and Kingscote. We really enjoyed our stay."

"We felt at home in this beautiful place, it was a a short stroll to the beach and high is perfect for anyone especially little ones. We spent hours playing and with a shed full of beach activities we knew we didn’t have to bring anything over from the mainland. "We had a lovely stay here last week. The house is on a beautiful property, not too far from Penneshaw to get supplies. We loved watching the kangaroos outside in the mornings and evenings. We even saw a baby Joey in its Mum’s pouch. The house was clean and was equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The beds were super cosy and plush. "
