Walk to Zilker Park (home of ACL Music Festival), Downtown Austin, Barton Springs, and more!

Close to all of Austin's hotspots, this sleek 6BR Duplex offers 2 separate sleeping spaces for 16 adults, 2 full-size kitchens, and 2 living spaces – each equipped with 55” flat screen LED TVs. The two Master suites (Bedroom 1 and Bedroom 4) are also each equipped with 50” flat screen LED TVs.

Upstairs in Unit A (red door), you’ll find Bedroom 1 fitted with a King bed an en-suite bathroom with a shower/tub combo. Bedroom 2 across the hall is fitted with a Queen bed and also features an en-suite bathroom with a shower/tub combo.  Downstairs past the kitchen, you’ll find Bedroom 3 fitted with two Double beds.

Upstairs in Unit B (grey door), you’ll find Bedroom 4 and Bedroom 5 – each fitted with a Queen bed an en-suite bathroom with a shower/tub combo.  Downstairs by the front door, you’ll find Bedroom 6 fitted with two Double beds.

Behind the duplex is a private courtyard perfect for large groups looking to enjoy some fresh air or a meal together on the picnic tables.

Great place for UT graduation with a large family

This was the perfect place for our family to enjoy UT graduation. The place was recently remodeled so everything was fresh and clean. Great layout with a small backyard that was perfect for our group to enjoy meals at the picnic tables. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms too.

Ok, but 2 units, unconnected

Property was fine, but was listed as a 6 bedroom home, when it is actually a duplex, two units, not connected. Upon arrival, nails were found scattered on the back deck/patio. Backyard is all gravel and backs up to a frontage road, so not ideal for children.

College reunion

Our group had a great stay in Austin, the size of the property was great for our group of 8. We enjoyed the large outdoor space. Check in was easy, and the property managers were very quick to respond when we had an issue with one of the freezers. Location was pretty good, we were able to walk to Zilker park easily and a few restaurants.

Just Ok

This property fell short of our expectation. Unit B was great. Unit A was not. It had a very unpleasant smell as soon was we opened the door. We located 2 cans of air deodorizer and sprayed them. No help. We could not locate the cause of the smell. The washing machine had a huge amount of mold on the door and standing water inside. It was leaking onto the floor upstairs.It was not usable and smelled awful. It was reported but was not addressed until the next day. They just shoved towels in front of it. Bath towels were crunchy. Several maintenance issues such as outlets not working, back door had a handle issue which made it very hard to open. They tried fixing with tape but did not work.

Central location

Nice property in a great location. Nothing fancy but all that you need! Great location off Mopac in central Austin. Nice quiet neighborhood, plenty of parking and both units had all necessary amenities.

Great location.

Great location. There is a great dive bar nearby as well as a fabulous chicken place within a quarter of a mile. The sub sandwich place is very good as well. We got an Uber to get around, but, it's only a mile or so from West 6th Street area. We had 11 people in our group and had plenty of good sleeping spaces.

ACL Weekend

The location of the duplex was fantastic. As others have noted, this is not a "luxury" unit. That being said, the units were both clean and comfortable. The beds were particularly comfortable. The duplex worked very well for our large group. We had a couple of issues with lights and leaks. The management team was very responsive, and helped us immediately.

Spacious Duplex in Convenient Location, but with a Few Drawbacks

Our family of 9 adults and 4 children recently stayed at the Downtown Luxury Retreat in Austin for three nights in June. Although the property didn't quite live up to its "Luxury Retreat" title, it had some positive aspects. The duplex was spacious, accommodating our large group comfortably. Having four master suites with attached bathrooms was nice. Plus, the location near downtown was a definite advantage. Considering it was summertime in Austin, the quick drive to Barton Springs Pool was just what we needed to escape the heat. The property management team was quick to respond to texts. However, there were a few drawbacks. There were several additional fees for extra guests, early check-in, cleaning, and accidental damage waiver, which were all disclosed at the booking, but I should have reviewed them more carefully. The internet speed was also disappointingly slow, which posed some challenges for our tech-reliant family. Lastly, when retrieving the remote underneath the couch, I was surprised to discover how dirty it was. The visible portions of the house like counters and floors appeared nice a clean. Overall, the stay was a positive experience but wasn’t a "Luxury Retreat" in our opinion.

Great stay for ACL!

This property worked well for our ACL weekend needs. Perfect for adults and adult kids to have their own space and room for a long music festival. Although pricey for a weekend, the accommodations and location for ACL is recommended.
