Kaleido House: king bed, close to Springs/Park

The two bedroom/one bathroom “Kaleido House” is the largest unit in the Zilker Vacations family. It features by far the most original art and colorful decor to go along with the spacious tall ceilings.

The Kaleido House is located just .44 miles to Zilker Park and Barton Springs Pool, the perfect location to enjoy everything that Austin has to offer. There is easy walking access to many of Austin’s famous restaurants as well as the outdoor paradise that is Zilker Park. Take a dip in the 68 degree waters of Barton Springs after enjoying a hike through the Barton Creek Greenbelt or a stroll around Lady Bird Lake. After a day outdoors, you’re only a short way back!

The vaulted beamed knotty pine wood ceilings make the over 1000 square feet seem even bigger. The kitchen is fully equipped to handle cooking big meals, and the Whole Foods world headquarters and Trader Joe's is approx 2 miles away. Several smaller convenience stores are blocks away.

There is a king bed with Temperpedic mattress in the master bedroom and two XL twins in the second bedroom, which can be made up as a king upon request.

Other amenities include: fresh coffee (organic local Ruta Maya) and tea fixings, washer/dryer and detergent, bath and beach towels, and a Britta water filter to keep fresh water in the refrigerator. There is a gas grill on the deck and tools and grate covers in the kitchen.

Quiet Neighborhood Close to Everything

Kaleidohouse was a clean, cozy property with all of the amenities one could want. Walk to Zilker and Barton Springs. Less than a mile from great restaurants, JuiceLand, and coffee. Very responsive hosts. Highly recommend!

Ideal Vacation Spot

The Kaledio house was perfect for our family! The unit was incredibly well-equipped and Cynthia & Peach were wonderfully communicative and accommodating. They provided so many extras - beach towels, sunscreen, coffee, books, toys, games, toddler bed rail, toiletries, and more. They clearly put a lot of thought into making their home a comfortable place to stay. The neighborhood is beautiful and we loved being so close to Zilker Park, Barton Springs, Peter Pan Mini Golf, and Butler Park.

A Precious Peaceful Place . . .

Under the Oak tree Out on the deck was our favorite place to hang out. When the weather is Nice, honestly, there is A Healing Energy there that whispers "Relax, bathe, nap and just stay Right Here."

We were in Austin for just one night, but this was a great place to stay. Cynthia and her crew were easy to work with, reached out ahead of time to ensure we had what we needed for the stay. The beds were amazingly comfortable for a good night of sleep.

Great Location, Great Duplex

The location of this duplex was awesome for getting around town. Nice view of downtown from the front porch! The duplex was quiet, comfortable, and equipped with all of the essentials we needed. The beds were comfortable!

Lovely, Clean Zilker Home

We stayed for two days over Christmas. The neighborhood was decorated with beautiful lights. It was a quiet, peaceful getaway from our otherwise sad and stress-filled year.

Wonderful VRBO

We stayed three nights over Thanksgiving. Fabulous VRBO, definitely one of our favorites and we hope to stay again. Great beds, everything looked new and VERY clean, all the supplies we needed so made it so much more easier to make a dinner. Great shower. Deck was nice to sit on, very peaceful. Nice surrounding area. A very pleasant stay and we would definitely recommend this VRBO.

UT Football weekend

Our stay at Kaleido House was great - great property with all the amenities, fully stocked kitchen and close to Barton Springs and trails. The host communications were timely and very helpful. We will stay at this property again on our future trips to Austin.

Great trip to ATX

A wonderful residential location on the Southwest side of Austin. The location is in close proximity to anything you want to do in Austin. The hosts are accommodating and communicate well. I highly recommend this cozy and comfortable home.

Ideal Location & Experience

We had a great weekend getaway as a family at the Kaleido House! It was very clean and comfortable and decorated very nicely. We have stayed in many rental properties and I believe this was one of the best we have experienced. Beds were very comfortable and the hosts were very responsive to questions. There were extra amenities provided and suggestions on what to do while we were in town which we appreciated! Can't beat the location right next to Barton Springs and beautiful Zilker Park!

Lovely Stay

We enjoyed our stay so much and decided to extend our time there. House is clean and comfortable. All necessary household items were provided. Washer and dryer came handy after swimming in Barton Springs.
