"Although only 10 minutes from Stonehaven it was ideally situated in the beautiful Kincardine countryside. Room was very clean and tidy. Breakfast was whatever you wanted and the bonus for us was that the plum tree in the garden was groaning with fruit. Owner picked some delicious plums for us. If we're back in the area well certainly consider Crawfield Grange as the #1 place to stay. "

"Angela was the greatest host ever, the house is nice, clean, great rooms, good bed, excelent breakfast and she is very nice. "

"This is a gem of a hotel, staff are so attentive and friendly, room was comfy and cosy. The food is up there with any top notch restaurant, especially if you like seafood! Great selection of beers, gins, whisky, wine as well. All in all a perfect 10 out of 10!"

"We have stayed at The Boat Inn at least 5 times now. We just keep coming back! A very professional set up and extremely comfortable. Staff so obviously want you to have a good time and will do all they can to ensure that you do. Rooms are very clean and beds so comfortable. The restaurant has a relaxed atmosphere, though it would have been good to see more vegetarian options on the menu. Breakfast is excellent. Aboyne is a very good base for exploring Deeside, Speyside , Stonehaven and Donside...

"Lovely staff - very grateful to the manager who waited past check in time for us when our flight got delayed by 3 hours, breakfast and dinner were lovely - would definitely recommend. Room and bathroom were a good size for the both of us."
