"The Malmaison is set in the heart of Aberdeen within walking distance of the city centre . It has a unique boutique vibe and has had a recent lavish refurbishment. The restaurant is very popular and can be very busy at the weekend in particular so be sure to book. The one slight drawback is that there is limited parking onsite and lots of parking restrictions in the area . "

"The Highland Hotel (now merged with the Brentwood Hotel next door) is on Crown Street, less than ten minutes walk from Aberdeen bus and train station. It is just off Union Street which is the main central street in Aberdeen (the equivalent of Princes Street, Edinburgh - sort of!). We stayed for 3 days, breakfast included. The room, towels, and bed linen were spotless. But the whole hotel is 'tired'. There is no lift, but the reception man will carry up the cases for you. Usual tea and biscuits...

"The Ibis is well-situated if you need to catch a bus or train from the Union Square area, or if you’d like to go shopping at Union Square or Bon Accord; it’s also within walking distance to the University of Aberdeen. The Maritime Museum is literally across the street, as is bowling, pool, and a movie theatre if you have time! Staff were friendly upon check in and out, and were more than willing to help with printing off a last minute copy of a conference paper I needed. Breakfast was good as...

"Middle stay of a 3 week vacation through Ireland and Scotland. By far our best stay so far and going to be hard to beat. Excellent all the way around. Our room was outstanding, our dinner and breakfast the best yet! Caoimhe, our waitress at dinner made our entire trip worth it. She has exemplified everything we have come to appreciate about Scotland. Friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, and offered the best suggestions for seeing Scotland at its finest. Would recommend this place to anyone...

"Great room at the top of the building, the shower was really good. Breakfast was continental and a brilliant start to the day. Room was cleaned every day and wifi was great. If you have trouble with stairs ask for room 7 on the ground floor."

"Alle negatieve reviews stellen zich een beetje aan, is het hotel nieuw, nee. Is het hotel een 5 sterren ervaring, ook niet. Maar daar is de prijs ook naar, op een locatie vlak bij het trein station en het centrum! Het enigste nadeel was dat de kamer (en eigenlijk het hele gebouw) heel warm was. Verder alles netjes in orde!"
