"QT Sydney is a remodelled old department store. It is quirky, multi levelled with some lifts going to some floors & other lifts going to the others. The rooms are well appointed, our 11th storey room is a decent size with desk and chair, 2 x lounge seats, king bed, fridge, Nespresso, mini bar, cocktail maker, decent storage, safe and bathroom with twin basins, shower and a round bath. The dividing wall between the bath and bed area has a sliding wall enabling you to Watch the Tv from the bath....

"Nice hotel...but poor sound insulation. I was 15-18 floors up and could hear people exiting the bars/clubs on street level.. definitely would not stay here if youre a light sleeper"

"Hotel is close to many restaurants, short walk to Martin Place and Theatre Royal. Room was quiet and roomy. Bed very comfortable. Chose not to have buffet breakfast, but went for the à la carte menu instead, which I enjoyed."

"I like the location the most but I’m not sure if I would have booked if I knew it’s a hotel/accommodation directly upstairs from a bar. When I checked in it was shocking as I had to talk to the bar manager. (My family arrived at 7pm) Also there’s city council construction on Thursday night, over an hour from 10 pm, which was shocking although it wasn’t the hotel’s fault. "We had a wonderful stay at the InterContinental Sydney and would happily return. The room was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable. The bathroom was excellent, with a great shower and everything well maintained. The only small improvement I would suggest would be a firmer mattress, as I have a bad back and personally sleep better on a firmer bed. That said, it was still a comfortable night's sleep. "We liked the that it was central in the city , but the room was not clean ,we had to ask for coffee cups , wine glasses , toilet paper was broken and one of our rooms were not cleaned daily . Everything was addressed very quickly but wouldn’t return ."

"Great location right next to Queen Victoria Building. Hotel guests have access to Fitness First facilities including indoor pool, steam room and sauna. Fitness First was located in the basement. Minor issue was the air conditioner. We could not warm the room for us to be comfortable at night. Bathroom sink vanity area is one of the smallest I have seen in a hotel."
