"We loved this hotel and its location in Kyoto. We walked to many attractions from the hotel as it is very convenient for tourists. Some of the nearby dining was fantastic and less than a two minute walk from the hotel. Hotel was extremely clean and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Highly recommend. "

"This hotel was very nice. The staff was very friendly. It wasn’t too far from everything. I would say about 15-20 min away. The laundry was okay. It kinda stained some of my white clothes. But I won’t put the blame on them. Just beware. Overall great stay and would def stay there again. I also did the private bath (both). They were decent. Relaxing."

The Kaseki breakfast (if you like that albeit, western breakfast looked decent too) to winding down with a meditation bell and a leaflet to help you relax before bed. The hotel is beautiful and the staff make you feel extra special with their personal touches, only 23 rooms and so the staff know everyone and will go out their way to help you. The whole experience is calming and peaceful and it’s like a small retreat, there’s no TV in the room...
