"We had a wonderful experience at The Mortimer’s Arms. If you are visiting Paultons Park/Peppa Pig World, the location is unbeatable (within walking distance). The hotel is exceptionally dog-friendly. They provided a water bowl, treats, and a toy for our dog, which was such a lovely gesture. "I had a very large quiet room at the side of the building on the first floor. Number 9. The bed was wonderful , comfortable with good pillows. The building itself is an historical gem. The furnishings and renovated bathroom are top notch. Breakfast was included, There could be a bit more choice but adequate. Location for the Cathedral opposite couldn’t be more perfect. "I wish I had stayed here longer, the staff, the rooms, the little garden area for my dog to enjoy, was just wonderful. It was a beautiful stay, wonderful breakfast and bar area where me and the dog just chilled with a nice glass of wine (me not the dog!) was delightful. 10/10 would recommend. The village of Stockbridge as well, its fantastic, such lovely places to eat/drink nearby too."
