Only negatives are that road facing room was a little noisy during the morning and evening rush hours and the security light in the room was quite intrusive. "A lovely position right near the conference centre and friendly staff who are also very helpful. Room was good and the bed firm enough and comfortable. Parking is available but quite tight if there is a few large cars. You are less than 10 minutes walking from the centre of Harrogate and surrounded by good restaurants and drinking bar. "Cedar Court is a beautiful hotel with views over The Stray. The staff are extremely helpful, courteous and welcoming. The room was fairly spacious, with a very comfortable bed. My only (minor) criticism is that the heated towel rail in the bathroom was situated too high on the wall (above the toilet) for me to put the towels on to dry. There was nowhere else to put the towels. Apart from that small issue, it was an excellent stay."

Their website states that breakfast is made to order and I recall seeing it on the expedia page but then was notified a day before about where to go for food instead. I asked on arrival and they have not served breakfast in 3 years. Inconvenient but not the end of the world. The shower had someone else's soap in it and the body wash was never renewed after use.
