Mitte des 15 Jhd wurde die Kirche durch den Baumeister Hansen erstmals umgebaut. Heute ist die Kirche eine dreischiffige Basilika, mit freistehenden Glockenturm und romanischen Grundriss. Die architektonischen Proportionen sind Gotisch. Im Innenraum verschmelzen die Stilrichtungen des Rokoko, der Gotik und der Romantik.
