"I really enjoyed staying at The Salty Mermaid. It is an absolutely beautiful location! It is a small hotel and doesn't seem fancy from the exterior, but it was clean and nice inside! It was probably one of the best locations you can get, as you walk right out on the beach, you have chairs and umbrellas provided, and you can walk to the shops and restaurants! I will definitely be going back! "

"I've stayed here three different times. Very clean and the staff are very friendly. I usually go to DB every month and try to stay away from the chain motels. This place is very clean. I recently took my one year old grandson over for the weekend. Wasn't concerned about a thing. The staff was extremely nice. I will certainly be back."

"Property is dated but well kept and clean. Room was average size with excellent ocean view balcony. Mattress was pretty comfortable and linen was clean and soft. Pool small but clean with excellent access to beach! Enjoyed my stay over all."

"Great beach hotel! Stayed here for a baseball tournament for the weekend and we all enjoyed it. Clean rooms, comfy beds, good service, nice pool area and right on the beach. Couldnt ask for anything better! "

"It was a wonderful stay at the beach. Loved the view from the balcony and the room was very clean. There is construction going on and the beach access closed, hopefully it won’t be like that next time."

"Such a cute hotel with nice rooms, love that we can sit outside our room. Bed was really comfy, fresh paint and very clean. Directly on the beach. Pool needs to be cleaned more often. At least once a day. The lights that light up at night over our doors is waaaaay to bright. I was in room 130 & i like sleeping in dark rooms. The light of outside made the room too bright. Also wasnt able to sit outside after 9pm because the light is sooo blinding. Its not cozy , that light shouldnt be right under...

"It's a little strange how the check-in and check-out process works. We arrived at night, I had already called earlier and the keys were in an old locker, we had the password, everything worked out. There was a leak in the refrigerator and it was fixed in the morning but no credit was offered for the inconvenience. Complimentary parking was great."

"The staff were all so friendly and helpful! Even when other guests were being nasty to them. My husband and I went by ourselves but I really want to go back with my kiddos! The pools were gorgeous and the beach access was perfection! Not the cleanest room I’ve ever stayed in, but Clorox wipes solved that problem."
