"We stayed in a superior dockside room and it was exceptional. Very spacious, well appointed and spotlessly clean. The food selection at breakfast was great and the staff went above and beyond to provide a gluten free selection for my wife who has coeliacs. The hotel is located across the road from the Everton stadium. Prepay the £10 per day parking and you can come and go as often as you like. Only minor drawback was the £30 charge to use the pool area which put us off using it. "

"Excelled as always. Everything about Crabwall Manor is the best. Fantastic grounds, stunning rooms and attentive staff from the reception to the bar staff to housekeeping. Warm welcome on checking in at reception, passed the keys to room 47 and although it doesn’t really have a ‘view’ the enclosed courtyard was nicely presented. The room was vast with enough space to provide the 2 high back chairs without feeling crowded. Bathroom was huge……(only wish was it had a freestanding bath!!!!) and...

"Good breakfast, for a reasonable price. Fresh fruit and yoghurt, plenty of tea and coffee and a beautifully cooked breakfast. Clean and spacious room, with a good power shower. Staff are very pleasant and helpful. "

"Betten waren bequem, Zimmer sauber mit etwas Entwicklungspotential. Poollandschaft könnte etwas besser gepflegt sein. Und das Geschirr, dass auf den Gängen gestapelt wird bis zur Abholung, macht keinen schönen Eindruck. Die Mitarbeitenden waren extrem freumdlich sowohl beim Check-in /Check-out als auch beim Frühstück. Beim Frühstück könnte zusätzlich zum Buffet noch gewünschte Speisen bestellt werden. Alles in Allem ein sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Wir würden wieder kommen. Nicht so...

"Our dog friendly room was perfect! We even had our own little garden. Room was spotlessly clean with a huge bed. Extremely dog friendly. Staff were helpful, friendly and very attentive. Breakfast was lovely. Enjoyed our stay here very much. We will always stay here now when we visit Lytham. "

"Room furnishings are very dated and in a state of disrepair e.g. stained carpets, furniture drawers wonky and not closing properly, door handles coming off, the list is endless! I had to request a change of room which was slightly better and the in-room safe didn’t work. And when explaining this to staff I was asked what colour the safe was and was then met with an ‘ah, ok’, as if they expected it not to be working from the colour it was, remarkable! Evening meal was no better than supermarket...
