"This is one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in. The condition of the rooms is totally shoddy. The beds extremely uncomfortable. No bedside lamps. No shower mat so the floor is very slippery. I could go on and on. There has been clearly no maintenance to this hotel. The staff on the whole were surly with a couple of exceptions. We paid over $100 a room which is an absolute rip-off. $30 would have been too much. They wanted 650 K for a taxi transfer to the airport. We used Yango and it was...

"the hotel is 5.4 miles from downtown. THe country was experiencing Load Shedding (Power outages) so they said they had a back up system, but could only turn it on, if we committted. Moved to upscale hotel, and even with their back up system... no aircon would go on, even with the back up. Stoneridge would have been worse, and with blackouts all around given its distance outside the city."
