"Tidy rooms on a quiet industrial estate, 10 mins walk from the Kelpies Statues , no food available but 10 min walk to McDonald's and 20min to a pub with food! Easy to find off the A9"

"Just an incredible time at the Norton House! Just an incredible comfortable bed with six pillows. Great breakfast, lunch dinner gourmet dinner available there on site and then to be able to walk the grounds and view the sheep go up by the woods and look down at the hotel. It was very nice. The spa facilities were top-notch. The receptionist were always available and friendly. I can’t say enough about the Norton."

It even has a secret garden where you can enjoy freshly brewed coffee and delicious cookies—or simply relax with a good book. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. "We would highly recommend this property. Room spacious and very clean. Great bed. Handy location for public transport into Edinburgh. Staff friendly. Parking very easy. Very quiet and safe location. Very good breakfast."

"The hotel and staff are amazing. A little quaint at first but that definitely grows on you. Tony the pianist was fantastic and played almost 5 hours solid with just a very short break. Reception area for check in/out is very odd like you are not sure you're doing things right. Breakfast was a major disappointment - the full Scottish was stingy in portion size (half a slice of bacon, skinny sausage and dry potato scone) and the guacamole for eggs benedict seemed shop bought. "Spent a week at the Malmaison. Location was fantastic. Walking distance to everything. Airport Tram stops 50 meters from the hotel. Hop On Hop Off bus stops directly out front. Room was comfortable if a bit small. Nice to have air conditioning and bathroom facilities were very nice. Breakfast was very good, though options were limited."
