"Lovely room, clean, tidy and well decorated the only problem was the towel rail was not connected therefore unable to dry towels. Would have liked an information booket/leaflet in room to show menu and snacks available."

"The property has an imposing stance and even before entering, suggests a degree of elegance and style. The start was not good, however, as upon entering the room, I found that it had not been serviced. I cannot remember if I received an apology - suggesting that maybe I didn't - but the hotel deducted the price of two bottles of wine from a dinner for 8 as a paliative. "The room was sort of clean but had clearly seen better days. The bathroom was not great. The toilet roll holder had been pulled out of the wall by a previous guest and was just hanging there. The towel rail did not work and was thick with dust, the walls were scuffed and marked for what appeared to be a long time. I like the hotel, have stayed before but they do need to sort out the rooms "
