"The room was very basic, modular. No literature about the hotel facilities or where to go in Edinburgh. The shower leaked into the toilet cubicle and into the bathroom area. For privacy the blind had to be down - overlooked a courtyard as did many rooms - the floor to ceiling window was in the bathroom area, so no natural light and the lighting in the bedroom was just bedside lamps. "What a great place to stay. Very central with a quick walk to everything. The room was very nice and so convenient having a washer/dryer right in the room. Friendly staff and having breakfast foods in our room for the whole stay when we checked in was great and they gladly provide additional if needed."

"Lovely hotel in a good location. We were able to walk to most attractions. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the lounge and bar made for a lovely atmosphere to relax and rest after a full day. The staff were helpful and accommodating. I would definitely stay here again."
