"This was an ‘extra’ overnight stay on our way to a golf tournament at another venue. The receptionist, Charley, was very polite and helpful and apologised for the fact that Hotels.com had not mentioned in my booking that car taking needed to be paid for separately…the only ‘fault’ we could find was that the breakfast only catered for scrambled eggs - no fried or poached options! :-("

"My family and I, along with our dog, had a wonderful stay at the Novotel Cambridge North. The hotel is modern and clean. We stayed for two nights, and we enjoyed the sauna, pool, and restaurant, all of which were excellent. Its location next to Cambridge North Station made it very convenient for us."

"Service was excellent from check in to check out. The staff are all very welcoming and friendly. Room was modern, clean and very comfortable. Fantastic facilities to cater for the whole family! Our breakfast was delicious and staff were kind to prepare a special dietary meal for my husband. Will definitely visit The Essex again."

"Everything a part from the thing I wanted most ie EV charging was good. However the ability to log on to the E. On app broke me! It also didn't help that there were loads of Tesla charging stations which sometimes have Chargmo options, these of course did not. "

"We had a very nice overnight stay. The hotel decor was welcoming, warm and bright, and all staff were friendly and professional. The beds were fresh, clean and comfortable and the bathroom was very clean. The shower was powerful and hot and there were toiletries provided if needed. We brought our own hairdryer and there didn't appear to be one provided in the room. The heating was efficient and easily adjusted. "Super friendly check in clerk. Breakfast was included in our stay. The beds were comfy! We stayed here to tour WB studios; it was about a 10 minute uber ride. It’s right across from the train station so easily walkable. "
