"Was not expecting much for the price and this property delivered very little. Too many issues to mention in a few words but, suffice it to say, it should be unlawful to rent a room to anyone without a functional smoke detector installed. This renders the property a public-safety hazard. I paid for two nights, stayed one. Not worth risking my life to save a few bucks. Look elsewhere. "

"Very clean. Quiet. Staff was friendly and responsive when we had a problem with television reception. Breakfast was excellent. Lots of choices of hot food and cold cereals and breads/bagels/english muffins. Ample free parking. Very convenient to Berkeley restaurants and shopping and to the freeways. Just a mile away is the Marina with walking trails next to the Bay in the park. Beautiful. Only 1/2 hour into SF across the Bay Bridge."

"The hotel itself is very close to the freeway. It was very accessible. The hotel staff were very courteous and accommodating. Isle the front desk staff was very helpful and kind. The stay was great. I was able to use the gym in the morning which was very clean. The continental breakfast was great. Delicious and yummy. Great hotel overall! Kudos!"

One nice feature was a coin operated washer and dryer on site so we could do a load of laundry. I would stat there again and highly recommend this business. The owners take pride in their establishment and take care of the landscaped plants and flowers. "
