"Very enjoyable stay. Well equipped accommodation. Parking is great and walking distance into the town and the many bars and restaurants."

"We stayed 3 nights and it was excellent! Located in the heart of the Ambleside downtown we were closed to restaurants/bars/shopping. The property was exactly how the pictures showed-lots of space, modern, and clean."

"Excellent hotel, nothing to complain about. Stayed here to go to scafell pike which was around 25 minutes drive away. Also a beach around 10 minutes drive away. Hotel has a large car park, great outdoor space to sit as well. Only down side was we went to pool room and it was locked, got the staff to open it and got change for the table from the bar. Just as we were going to start playing noticed one cue was broken in half and the other the tip was missing. Dart board not in the best condition....

"We spent a one night stay at Armathwaite Hall Hotel and immediately wished it was for longer...The reception staff were exceptionally welcoming, indeed all staff were friendly and helpful. Fortunately, the Lake View resturant was open for dinner during our stay; the food was delightful, well presented and perfectly proportioned. The spa was lovely, especially, the outdoor jacuzzi overlooking the gardens; which seemed a big hit with all of the guests...Overall we had a wonderful, restful stay and...
